The Neighborhood Empowerment Network, Slow Food Nation and the Sustainable Living Roadshow are proud to announce the first ever "Community Day at the San Francisco Victory Garden" on Saturday, August 16th from 10am to 4pm.

This family oriented event will provide a once in a life time opportunity to learn more about the Victory Garden movement as well as enjoy classic carnival style games that make learning about sustainability fun!

The Victory Garden is a real garden that has been planted in the center of the Civic Center (photo link below). The goal of the garden is to help communities learn about new ways they can reconnect with food and build community at the same time.

Please join us on August 16th and experience this once in a lifetime attraction.
