The official website of the Neighborhood Empowerment Network (NEN) Powered by a strategic partnership of City Agencies, local non profits and committed community leaders, the NEN is a collaborative platform that serves as a central engagement point for communities to find and share information that will empower them to make their neighborhoods a better place to live. The NEN helps both established and up and coming community leaders learn of new ways to help their neighborhoods become safer, greener, cleaner, stronger, and ultimately be better prepared for natural disasters.
NEN Event: Community Day at Victory Garden
The Neighborhood Empowerment Network, Slow Food Nation and the Sustainable Living Roadshow are proud to announce the first ever "Community Day at the San Francisco Victory Garden" on Saturday, August 16th from 10am to 4pm. This family oriented event will provide a once in a life time opportunity to learn more about the Victory Garden movement as well as enjoy classic carnival style games that make learning about sustainability fun!
